CASUAL VACANCY - EAST WARD  

  

Rogerstone Community Council has a vacancy on the Council, which Members wish to fill through co-option. Applications are invited from individuals, who may wish to become part of the Community Council and have the opportunity to influence it`s direction. 

 

Applications should be in writing and in no more than 150 words, explain why you wish to represent the community and also give brief details of your background. Applications are particularly welcome from any sections of the community, whom may be under represented. 

 

Applications will then be considered by a panel comprising of Members, who will then invite selected candidates for an informal discussion. 

 

Following this, a recommendation will be made to the meeting of Rogerstone Community Council on 1^st May 2024 , where the successful candidate will be appointed to Council.

BENCH & TREE SPONSORSHIP - WELFARE GROUNDS 

Residents wishing to sponsor a bench or tree at the Welfare Grounds, Rogerstone, should make an application to the Clerk to the Council (rogerstonecc@gmail.com) . The proposal will be considered by members at a council meeting, and if agreed, the applicant will be invited to meet with the Clerk to the Council or Head Groundsman to agree the location and specification, which will be at the Head Groundsman's discretion. The cost of the proposal will be confirmed by the Clerk to the Council and must be met in full by the applicant.

 

WELFARE GROUNDS CLOSING TIME

Current grounds closing time to all members of the public  (all cars/persons out before this time - gates will be locked and not opened until the following morning):

GROUNDS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO PUBLIC AT 8.45PM, GATES LOCKED 9PM. 

NO CAMPING/CARAVANNING IN THE GROUNDS DAY OR NIGHT - ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED BY CLOSING TIME - SEE ABOVE
