There have been 154 incidents in the Rogerstone Ward area during the month of September which are broken down into the following categories

Your Voice Priority Ward Update
Your Voice Surveys were completed by residents during April both in person with local Officers and online via the web link and is now closed.
The Ward priority for Rogerstone is ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR IN THORNBURY PARK, CEFN WOOD and THE UNDERPASS on CHARTIST DRIVE.

Actions/Activities by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team
Regular patrols have been carried out by the neighbourhood team throughout the month in all ‘Your Voice’ priority areas.
Males were stopped on The Wern Industrial Estate and dealt with for drug offences.
Two males were arrested after a warrant was carried out on Tregwilym Road and dealt with for drug offences.
A local male from Thornbury Park has been arrested for possession with intent to supply.
Tickets have been issued on Highcross Lane to vehicles over staying the limited wait time.
Local councillors have been updated on the parking problem (inconsiderate parking) in Scott Walk with regards to the vehicle which is registered off road and insured. The local team are still awaiting an answer from Newport City Council about any help they can offer to resolve this issue.
Update off Costain
Works are progressing well and to time at Bassaleg. We have successfully completed the installation of new street lighting columns, which were turned on Tuesday 26th. We are looking to start the installation of the traffic lights in the coming weeks.
