ROGERSTONE FESTIVAL

GREAT NEWS - THERE WILL BE A ROGERSTONE FESTIVAL THIS YEAR. THIS WILL BE HELD AT THE WELFARE GROUNDS ON THE 31ST AUGUST.

The next committee meeting will be on Wednesday 14^th May 7pm in the council chambers at  Tydu Community Hall, Welfare Grounds, Rogerstone, Newport. 

Please help by –

• Sharing information about the festival on facebook (or any other media)
• Mentioning it to as many people as possible
• Making suggestions for entertainment, food, stalls, activities

We are looking for –

• Stall holders
• Activities for Children
• Food Stalls
• People who can help on the day
• Entertainment

So far we have –

• Newport City Radio – entertainment / stage

• Ukelele Wolves
• A surprise Act
• Encore
• Jolly Roggies singers
• Rogerstone Band

• The cricket pavilion will be open with a display and refreshments
• Art in the Hall
• Food -

• The Glade Café
• Pizza
• Candy floss
• More is in process - ideas appreciated

• Stalls

• Facepainting
• Cubs/guides
• Various craft items for sale

• Bouncy Castles
• Vintage Cars
