Tydu Community Hall is available for hire for organised groups/functions/events.

Hire of the hall does not include any of the grounds, which are available for public use only during the opening times that vary throughout the year. If the grounds are closed during hire, the car park remains open during the booked hall time only, gates are locked 15 minutes after booking end. Weekends the hall closes at 8pm for children's party hire and 10pm for adult only hire; the hall closes 9pm for regular hire weekdays (8pm children's parties), and is closed on all Bank Holidays.
If the hall, room, kitchen are booked together, the maximum permitted is 100. Hiring individual rooms reduces the maximum number and will also depend on the type of function.
Approximate room sizes - Hall 42x26ft, Room (adjoins hall- folding doors) 27ftx 16ft, Kitchen 9ftx7ft. These measurements are a bare room and the space is reduced with furniture/fixtures/fittings. Kitchen has units and a kettle, urn, basic electric cooker (no cookware), small fridge (no freezer), small microwave, crockery and cutlery, basic cleaning materials. No alternative cooking facilities (portable gas/electric cookers etc. can be used on the premises.
The Council offer the facilities for hire, and do not arrange or insure any third party caterers / entertainers etc., this is the hirers responsibility, see the example form on the Tydu Community Hall / Bookings Information page. No wifi / music /speakers are available.
Entertainers/caterers etc. are not permitted in the building until the hirer is present at the booked time and the hirer must remain on the property until anyone they have engaged has left.
Hire of the hall does not mean hire of any of the outdoor areas, the grounds are closed to everyone at the advertised time without exception. Car parking is limited and cannot be reserved, it is offered on a first come first served basis.
